Starting New @ Walden University

This past week I started my "ongoing" college adventure at 40 with Walden University. In just a year and a half I will complete my Bachelors Degree in Communication.

My focus at Walden is New Media and includes blogging, wikis, podcasts, social networks, and multiple other online transmissions of messaging with the intent of managing them to optimize outcomes.

Walden University is an accredited institution that for nearly 40 years has provided an engaging learning experience for working professionals. Their mission of producing scholar-practitioners has attracted a community of extraordinary students and faculty, all sharing a common desire to make a positive social impact—to make a difference.

My professional and personal goals are uniquely matched with this University and choice of Major. It is an exciting, yet demanding time for me and my family. I am convinced that it will open doors and provide the needed credentials for the future.
